Turck – worker terminal for recording activities and feedback from all workers

The goal of our customer Turck was to record the activities of the workers, to make them available for subsequent processes and to document them paperlessly. With a worker terminal tailored to the customer's needs, we were able to develop the right tool for that purpose.

Our customer TURCK is one of the world's leading groups in factory, process and logistics automation. The specialist for industry-specific automation solutions is represented by around 4650 employees in more than 30 national companies as well as sales partners in a further 60 countries. As a result of increased manufacturing complexity, the company needed an innovative tool for process support in production.

Goal

The company wanted to develop a worker terminal in which the activities and feedback of all workers were recorded. Aborted processes as well as the final quantity of the product series should be traceable for subsequent processes. Furthermore, TURCK pursued the goal of replacing paper-based processes and promoting interdepartmental cooperation to increase process quality.
